It is an ULTRA RARE MODEL, Rolex Oyster Perpetual model 5552 stainless steel mens sized watch with a domed and polished gold bezel ring and very beautiful, rare and "minty" original dial along with it's original inner and outter boxs, papers, and presentation pouch (it was a retirement gift). It has been appreciating in value for decades and will only continue. Model number 5552, serial number 968xxx c.

This watch will come with our sales receipt with model number, serial number, and authenticity noted. It will also come our Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and it's original box and papers. Last week the Perpetual winding Rolex signed cal 1530 movement with sweeping seconds hand was fully inspected, it is running as it should. At that time the watch case, case back, crystal, and bezel were professionally polished leaving them scratch and dent free. The case measures 34 mm wide excluding the crown (it's an average sized vintage mens watch for the time period, and looks great on ladies also, and would be considered mid sized by most men today).

The winding crown is a genuine Rolex twin lock screw down crown with the Rolex logo. The crown screws down nice and tight. The coin edges on the case back show minor improper tool use. The bracelet (band) is a brand new non-Rolex made Dassari brand genuine leather replacement.

The ultra rare raised dial has aged well in it's 58 years with beautiful light and even patina. This was a retirement watch presented in 1964. The case back is inscribed as such. The watch also comes with the pouch that it was presented in as well as it's original inner and outer boxes and orginal papers.

The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful, and the watch is polished to a perfect shine. Any imperfections you see in the shine are just reflections the camera caught. This is a beautiful example of this model. EVERY MAJOR PART ON THIS WATCH IS GENUINE ROLEX EXCEPT FOR THE LEATHER BAND AND BUCKLE.
