Rare Vintage R&Y Augousti 8 drawer jewelry box

  

Purple python skin (sometimes listed as shagreen) with black accents. Finish on the wood is intact, with no signs of wear. Case covering retains its purple color and shows virtually no signs of wear. Marked "R&Y Augousti Paris" on the bottom and features the designers' logo. Double doors lock with a wood pin through the knobs.

Doors open to reveal eight small wood drawers. Drawer fronts have panels that appear to be dyed mother of pearl. Drawer pulls are white, probably made of bone.
