Commodore MAX Machine Rare Pre-C64 Vintage Computer 6581 Complete In Box CIB

  

For sale here is a vintage Commodore MAX Machine computer bundle. Commodore MAX Machine computer (MAX-04). Box (with original foam and accessories box inside).

Original power supply this PSU is Japanese and runs on 100V. To use it in Australia and other 240V countries, you will need a 240V to 100V step-down power transformer. Original Commodore RF switchbox with cable. AV cable (3.5mm to RCA audio and video).

Omega Race (complete in box with manual, cardboard holder, and plastic baggie). Everything has been tested and is in working order. The MAX Machine itself is in great condition with very minimal signs of wear (a scuff or two on the silver painted section). The box is in okay condition with some tearing on the top and is missing the plastic handle, and the Omega Race box has some creasing.

Every keyboard key has been tested using a BASIC cartridge (not included), and so has the 6581 SID chip. I've performed the 1-wire video mod to this MAX to get composite RCA audio and video out of the 3.5mm headphone jack (instead of being stuck with Japanese RF only), and I've also put heatsinks on all of the exposed ICs to help dissipate heat and help them to survive a bit longer. Luckily the MAX's PSU uses the same voltages, pinout, and connector, meaning any of the newly made Commodore 64 PSUs will work perfectly.
