Chemex Vintage Hand Blown 60's With Filters In Box. Rare new old stock condition

  

Rare new old stock condition, there's still part of original sticker near base. Original wood collar rawhide has been replaced. I can sent the original brittle pieces if desired.

Filters are marked pat 1964, box has been opened with lots of round filters inside. Circa 1960's and earlier Chemex were marked with green embossed logo on bottom. According to Chemex Green labels were hand blown, heavier weight than current Chemex originals and will hold heat better.

Please do your own research to confirm. Capacity is 40oz, Since Chemex measures 5oz per cup, This is the 8 cup version. Without question one of the finest surviving examples of early chemex.
