Cartier ref # 752 case # 7959 unique, special order Astronomical Helm wristwatch 1936 platinum and gold with 2 original boxes. I have never seen the equal to this Cartier watch, this Astronomical Helm.

It is an Art Deco masterpiece and cannot be replaced in history. This Cartier Helm watch began its life in 1936 as a special pendant watch to a wealthy family client on the East Coast, USA.

You can see this model in pendant form in the book "CARTIER THE POWER OF STYLE" pg 264. After the war in 1965, it was presented to the Cartier boutique in New Bedford Mass to continue it's life as a wristwatch, where elegant designed lugs were added for a 26 mm alligator lecoultre wriststrap and 18k special design buckle to match the case. At 40mm wide, this watch is the largest Helm design retailed by Cartier. This Cartier is unparralled on the owner's wrist. You will NEVER see another like it on anyone else...
